Descriptor Outcome – make body choices while in role to be convincing for an audience.
Performing Meaning:
The body skills used will demonstrate understanding of at least 3 of the below components in at least 3 units of text or 45 seconds of work etc.
- Facial expression
- Posture
- Gesture
- Stance
- Muscular tension
- Eye movement and eye focus
Context for demonstrating skills:
The context for students demonstration of skills could be during any assumed character role in a class exercise, improvisation or prepared performance.
Defining Meaning:
Choices made can be explained and justified orally (or written) when requested for the teacher and/or class members.
